Covered Bridges CD-ROM - F.A.Q. Page

1) Sometimes the background music skips or the tone of the music momentarily changes.
Even if your system meets the minimum requirements there may be times when the music will skip or the tone change.  This can be caused by low system memory resources, especially when the computer is processing data in the background or you have other programs running.  Close all other programs that are running and see if this helps. It also can be caused from slow data transfer from the compact disc drive.  Check the CD for dust and fingerprints.

2) Can I sell copies of the images on this CD-ROM?
No.   If you are interested in using the images in a commercial endeavor contact Leo Taylor Photos for licensing agreement.

3) Windows DMA Settings - Sound Problems
When playing a sound file from the CD-ROM and it flutters or fades it may be caused by low data transfer. Check to see if DMA is enabled for the drive that's has the CD disc. Links at the bottom of the page will provide additional information on setting and using DMA.

-- Activate DMA mode in Windows 95/98/ME

Now expand the "CD-ROM" and select your driver, "Properties" -> "Settings" and activate the "DMA" button.
If "DMA" switch is grayed, the driver has not been correctly installed.
